mso-no-proof: yes;">) و براساس متغیرهای محیط زیستی و اقلیمی (حرارتی و بارشی) ارزیابی گردید. بررسی نتایج حاصل از مدل، نشان داد که میزان بارش سالیانه و فصلی، میانگین درجه حرارت سالیانه، ارتفاع و پوشش اراضی به‌ترتیب به‌عنوان مهم‌ترین متغیرها برای مطلوبیت زیستگاه سمندر لرستانی می‌باشند. از طرفی ارزیابی وضعیت حفاظتی این گونه با بررسی مناطق پراکنش گونه و تطبیق آن با شبکه‌های حفاظتی نشان داد که، در حال حاضر هیچ یک از زیستگاه‌های مطلوب سمندر لرستانی در مناطق تحت حفاظت نبوده و پشتوانه قانونی برای حفاظت از این سایت‌ها وجود ندارد، و این وضعیت این گونه به شدت در خطر انقراض را با آسیب بیشتری مواجه می‌سازد</span></i></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify; -ms-text-justify: kashida; text-kashida: 0%;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; mso-bidi-font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;;"><font face="Times New Roman"><font color="#000000">Lorestan newt (<i>Neurergus</i></font><font color="#000000"> </font><i><font color="#000000">kaiseri</font></i><font color="#000000">) is an endemic species which has restricted dispersal in southern Zagros Mountains in Iran, and it is listed as critically endangered in IUCN red list. Today the populations of this species are decreasing and facing serious threats. In this study, habitat suitability of </font><i><font color="#000000">Neurergus kaiseri</font></i><font color="#000000"> was evaluated using a MaxEnt modelling approach according to environmental and climatic parameters (thermal and precipitation). Based on the results derived from the MaxEnt model, the most important parameters were related to annual and seasonality precipitation, annual mean temperature, elevation and land cover, respectively.
